Ahorn: Tomorrow's technology today

1) From the 2017 season, Ahorn will also be supplying through participating Renault dealers. Thanks to the new DDS sales system, dealer mark-ups remain significantly lower than when selling through a classic motorhome dealer network.

2) From the 2017 season, Ahorn will also be supplying converted panel vans on Renault (separate brochure).

3) Ahorn builds its 2017 motorhomes almost exclusively on the new Renault Master Euro 6b chassis, as this offers a number of advantages, as will be explained later. Smaller series are also built on the Fiat Ducato Euro 6

4) The Maple Camp, Canada and Alaska (ex Kentucky) models will be fitted with the expensive framed windows instead of the previous curtain-type windows. The exception to this is the economy model "Ahorn-Camp A660", which will continue to be built as for the 2016 season, but with the new Master chassis. The new frame windows are flush with the outer walls and are much more elegant when closed, but especially when open. They no longer protrude outwards and therefore generate no air resistance or noise. However, the main advantage lies in burglar resistance.

5) Ahorn offers burglary protection systems for retrofitting or for new orders. In this context, curtain-type windows would be inconsistent and can no longer be replaced as a retrofit kit. To prevent vehicle theft, Ahorn offers an inexpensive "GPS system" for localizing the vehicle.

6) There are new chassis comfort extensions with air suspension systems, which also automatically realize the 4 ton load on Renault-Master.

7) There are already models with Renault rear-wheel drive and twin tires. Soon there will be trailer couplings for at least 2.5 to. towing capacity.

8) The furniture construction has been modified and upgraded with more indirect LED strips, elegant furniture flaps (glossy lacquer) and high-quality flap adjusters and new easy-to-operate flap catches.

9) All Ahorn motorhomes have been further improved in terms of winter suitability with additional fittings such as seals and warm air distribution. This is particularly interesting for models with an intermediate door to the sleeping area.

9) The Alaska motorhome series is equipped with the new Webasto Air - Top diesel heater, which can be ordered in 2 output sizes.

This means you no longer need to replace gas cylinders when winter camping.

10) Much more on request.
