Prerequisites for concluding repair cost protection
Classic
- The motorhome must have a valid operating permit.
- The motorhome must not be older than 14 years at the start of the repair cost protection, minus the selected term. The maximum entry age is calculated from the difference between the maximum age of the motorhome of 14 years and the selected term of the repair cost protection.
- The permissible gross weight is a maximum of 7.5 t.
- The mileage of the motorhome must not exceed 120,000 km at the time the repair cost protection begins.
- The motorhome is registered in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Premium
- The motorhome must have a valid operating permit.
- The permissible gross weight is a maximum of 7.5 t.
- The motorhome is no older than 2 years at the start of insurance coverage (calculated from the day of first registration) and has a maximum mileage of 50,000 km.
- The motorhome is registered in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Repair cost protection is guaranteed for the following components and parts, as well as the following equipment of the protected motorhome, in the event of a functional failure.

Motor
Cylinder block, crankcase, cylinder head, cylinder head gasket, housings of rotary piston engines, all internal parts connected to the oil circuit, timing belt with tensioner and idler pulley/timing chain and chain tensioner, oil cooler, oil pan, oil pressure switch, oil filter housing, flywheel/drive plate with ring gear, turbocharger and supercharger and boost pressure control and control housing, hydraulic lifters, hydraulic chain tensioner, variable camshaft adjuster.;
Manual/automatic transmission
Transmission housing, all internal parts including torque converter, from the clutch hydraulics clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder, clutch cable, automatic transmission control unit, and from the automated manual transmission (e.g., Easytronic) the control unit and hydraulic unit, mounting plate for converter and ring gear, guide and needle bearings, intermediate gear;
Axle/transfer case
Gearbox housing (front and rear drive) including all internal parts, differential gear, all-wheel drive component transfer case includes housing incl. internal parts, freewheels;
Power transmission shafts
Driveshafts, axle shafts, drive joints, from the traction control and stability control system (e.g., ASR, ESP, ASC, EDS, 4Matic) speed sensors, electronic control units, hydraulic unit, pressure accumulator, and charge pump, wheel bearings and wheel hubs; ESP with the parts: control unit, hydraulic unit, high-pressure/return pump, pre-charge pump, speed sensor, changeover valve, master brake cylinder, and sensors for lateral acceleration, brake pressure, steering spindle, and rotational speed;

Mechanical or hydraulic steering gear with all internal parts, hydraulic pump with all internal parts, electric power steering motor and electronic components, steering shaft, intermediate steering shaft, steering damper;
Brakes
