The new Van City
The perfect combination of everyday and leisure vehicleA highlight at the end of the year is the series production of the new Van City. Due to the positive feedback we received on our prototype at this year's Caravan Salon, we decided to go ahead with series production together with our French partners.
The new Van City is characterized in particular by the integrated rail system of the 3-seater bench seat in the rear seat area. Quick and targeted locking in various positions means that the seating area can be transformed into a dining and living area in no time at all. With the fold-down bench seat, which can be folded out into a two-meter-long bed, the Van City including roof tent has four sleeping places. This means that the Van City can be converted from a practical panel van into a feel-good motorhome in just a few minutes.
The product video of the new van model clearly shows how many functions the Van City can take on in everyday life as well as how practical it is to be able to escape the urban jungle for the weekend. With its large compressor refrigerator, the Van City scores highly in terms of autonomous travel. Many small improvements, such as the removable table, allow individual adaptation to different circumstances. In bad weather, the van offers enough space to sit together and eat with its fully equipped kitchen, wide bench seat and swivel driver's seats. When the sun is shining, the dining table can easily be used outside, as an additional table leg is supplied as standard - turning it into a breakfast table in the middle of nature.
Much has changed, but fortunately some things have remained the same. We continue to build our Van Citys on the reliable Renault Trafic chassis, which is available in three engine versions.
