Comparison! 3 affordable space miracles
MOTORHOME INTERNATIONAL
Renault, Ford and Fiat perform their duties in the entry-level models from Ahorn, Chausson and Sunlight. A comparison shows what makes them stand out and what the semi-integrated models in the lower price segment have to offer.
There's no question that Fiat is the market leader when it comes to base vehicles with the Ducato. However, this does not necessarily mean that the Transit from Ford or the Renault Master are inferior. In a direct comparison, the Ducato-based Sunlight T 65 (available from 43,899 euros), the Transit-based Chausson 627 GA (from 48,190 euros) and the Renault Master-based Ahorn Camp T 690 (base price 39,800 euros) compete. The three 6.99-meter-long semi-integrated models compete against each other in the entry-level segment and are equipped with a single or transverse rear bed, lengthways bathroom, lengthways kitchen and semi-dinette with lengthways bench. While Sunlight is an entry-level brand of the Hymer Group, the Chausson brand label belongs to the French Trigano Group.
