Inclusion in the Federal Economic Senate
As a special entrepreneurial personality, Alexander Reichmann is now a member of the Federal Economic Senate, the excellence committee of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.Speyer. "These are very challenging times for entrepreneurs in Germany. In addition to long-term challenges such as the shortage of skilled workers, digitalization and mobility, there are now crises such as the war in Ukraine and the associated gas shortages and inflation. At Ahorn Camp, we are taking responsibility and doing everything we can to steer our company through these times of crisis. And in doing so, the exchange with other outstanding personalities from the Federal Economic Senate is very valuable - we are united by entrepreneurial courage, innovative spirit and social responsibility."
The Federal Economic Senate is the excellence committee of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e.V.) with almost 28,000 members. The Senate includes numerous hidden champions and global market leaders as well as outstanding personalities from science and culture. The approximately 350 members of the Senate generate an annual turnover of around 120 billion euros and are responsible for 1.2 million employees.
With their personal voluntary commitment, the senators help to implement the interests of SMEs in dialog with decision-makers from politics, business, culture and the media. The objectives and tasks of the Federal Economic Senate include, for example, improving the framework conditions for SMEs, close cooperation with political decision-makers and general networking for SMEs. The development of joint political demands, the financing of studies to develop proposed solutions in line with the goals of SMEs and the promotion of social projects are also on the agenda of the Senate members.
"The German SME sector is the backbone of the German economy. It ensures prosperity, stability and continuity," said Hans-Josef Döllgen, Director of the Federal Economic Senate South, at the certificate presentation ceremony at Ahorn Camp GmbH in Speyer. The diverse exchange of ideas is a special feature of the Federal Economic Senate. Hans-Josef Döllgen is all the more pleased about the newest member of the Senate and his unique selling point: "Alexander Reichmann is the only entrepreneurial personality in our Senate from the motorhome industry."
