Speyer, October 2026 – The Ahorn Camp motorhome provider is inviting visitors to its headquarters at Franz-Kirrmeier-Straße 8 in Speyer from October 15 to 18, 2026. The home fair in Oktoberfest style falls within the anniversary year of the family-run company: it Ahorn Camp was founded in 1991 and is today run in its second generation. Visitors can view the motorhomes and campervans of the 2027 model year, receive advice, and take advantage of special offers.
The event is working Ahorn Camp with partners from the region: Fresh draft beer from the Speyer Cathedral Brewery is being donated, and Bratwürste from the Schreiner Butcher’s Shop in Harthausen will be served on the grill. Guests are expressly invited to come in traditional costumes. The event is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. When the vineyards in the German Wine Route turn autumn colors and the Palatinate Forest invites you to hike, autumn in the Palatinate also offers opportunities for trips in a motorhome. You can not only stay overnight at traditional campsites. Ahorn Camp kooperiert with the platform Alpaca Camping, through which you can book nature-friendly pitches on farms, vineyards and private properties online in a short time. Some winemakers in the Palatinate also offer pitches there amidst the vineyards.
Local operators such as winemakers and farmers benefit from the model. Travelers get an alternative to traditional campsites. Through the cooperation, Ahorn Camp sustainable camping projects and the expansion of such camping space are supported. Those who register in advance for Oktoberfest receive a one-year membership in the Alpaca Club worth 49 euros.
Anyone who wants to try an autumn tour without having to buy their own vehicle can book a vehicle directly in Speyer through Ahorn Rent. During the October festival, Ahorn Camp 20 percent off is granted on rental bookings made directly at the home fair.
The exhibition showcases all the new campervans and motorhomes of the 2027 model year, which are Ahorn Camp exclusively based on the fourth-generation Renault Master. The base vehicle was awarded „Van of the Year“ in 2025. Among the exhibits are the new layouts T 590, A 595 and TL 740, as well as the Eclipse Edition with a Pearl-Black cab, black Renault alloy wheels and black leather upholstery. The campervan CV 630 Eclipse was recently awarded the Auto Zeitung Camping Life Trophy in the Vans/Cabs category over 5.30 meters.
During the home show, a Ahorn Camp total of seven offers are available covering purchase, rental, and accessories. When purchasing new and used vehicles – from compact campervans to fully integrated models for the whole family – price benefits of up to 10,000 euros are possible. Those who wish to rent a motorhome will receive a 20 percent discount when booking at the home show. Existing customers will also save 25 percent on accessories.
