Our new Ahorn Camp mascot: The squirrel
Ahorn Camp has been represented by its own mascot since April 7, 2022: the cuddly and travel-loving squirrel.
After it became known to us that many of our customers give their motorhome this nickname, which is a mixture of the words Ahorn and squirrel, and that both they and the employees of Ahorn Camp wanted a mascot they could touch, we teamed up with Heidelberger Plüschwelt openmindz GmbH to develop a symbol for our company. After a four-year development phase from the idea to production and delivery, we were finally able to proudly present the result two weeks ago at the opening of our service center: A brown and white squirrel with our Ahorn-Camp logo and a blue scarf on its chest.
The advantages of our Ahörnches are manifold. Not only is it cute to look at, a good cuddly companion and a great travel companion, but it is also climate-neutral and made by hand with love, offering a whole new dimension of brand identification - without any bad conscience towards our nature. All squirrels have been produced and delivered in a way that sustainably supports the UN's goals in the fight against climate change. Even in this aspect, the squirrel fully represents our brand, which is committed to climate-friendly travel.
