The Triglav National Park in Slovenia<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Triglav National Park, named after the 2860m high Triglav mountain, is still home to brown bears, lynxes, marmots and many other European exotics. There is certainly no shortage of campsites in this small country. Although free camping is prohibited in order to protect nature, there are some pitches that allow self-sufficient camping without any problems. Depending on whether you prefer outdoor activities such as hiking and rafting in the Soca Valley or a relaxing day at Lake Bled, there are also a number of campsites with modern infrastructure that invite you to linger.<\/p>\n

In addition to turquoise-blue lakes, lush green forests and architecturally remarkable towns, the south-eastern part of the country also has direct access to the sea. Mecklenburg Lake District<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most beautiful German destinations awaits in the north of Germany. About halfway between Berlin and the Baltic Sea coast, the Mecklenburg Lake District is a dream for all campers. In addition to the scenic location, the region also offers countless leisure activities for the whole family. Thanks to the vastness of the region, the lake district does not feel overcrowded even at peak travel times, but offers plenty of quiet spots to relax. The largest lake in the Mecklenburg Lake District is the M\u00fcritz, which consists of several large and small lakes.<\/p>\n

Whether outdoor activities such as cycling or hiking or a day trip to one of the small colorful towns such as R\u00f6bel, Malchow or Tetrow - a vacation in this region is versatile. One destination that is not quite around the corner, but is definitely worth a visit, is the so-called archipelago off Stockholm. The skerries are small rocky archipelagos that were formed during the ice age and now bear this peculiar name. Many of the 24,000 Swedish archipelagos are located around Stockholm and are smaller than 2 km\u00b2. Some of these islands are connected by bridges, others can be easily reached by water cab - an absolute paradise for self-sufficient campers. There are countless pitches and free sites here, where everyone's right applies. Those who really want peace and quiet will find their inner peace here.<\/p>\n

But this area is also perfect for canoeing or kayaking. Paddle boats for one to three people are available in many places for little money. So you can either plan a sporty day trip or even start a multi-day trip with some provisions and a small tent. You may be on the open sea here, but thanks to the countless small islands, one thing is certain: land is always in sight. A quick picnic? No problem. Almost all the islands are uninhabited and can be accessed by anyone at any time. What you should definitely pack in your rucksack in Sweden: Kanelbullar! In winter, Andorra is one of the most popular ski regions and in summer, life comes to life in the capital Andorra la Vella. The highest capital in Europe looks like a relic from a film with its stone churches and old alleyways, yet it is colorful and modern.<\/p>\n

As only 8% of the country is built on, there are plenty of opportunities to live it up in Andorra. The few, but lovingly maintained campsites offer space for 40-100 motorhomes. You can set off on an excursion from there at any time. Andorra is characterized by both French and Spanish culture, which means that not only are both languages spoken, but also the cuisine. In addition to the national dish Trinxat made from potatoes and cabbage and the many types of cheese, there are many great Mediterranean restaurants in the capital.
