For over 30 years, Ahorn Camp has stood for mobile freedom and the passion for travel. Founded by engineer Hans-Joachim Reichmann in the municipality of Ahorn, the family business is now run in the second generation by Alexander and Franziska Reichmann. With innovative spirit and a clear eye for trends, we continuously develop our motorhomes, combining proven quality with modern technology.<\/p>\n

This is how Ahorn Camp has become one of Germany's fastest-growing motorhome brands. Numerous regular awards such as Focus Growth Champion<\/i> or Grand Prix of the Medium-Sized Businesses<\/i> confirm our successful course.<\/p>\n

From our headquarters in Speyer, our branches in Frankfurt and M\u00fclheim an der Ruhr, and over 30 trading partners in Germany and 15 locations abroad in Europe, we bring Ahorn Camp to the road nationwide. With our rental brand Ahorn Rent, we also make camping accessible for beginners and explorers \u2013 with over 30 rental stations throughout Germany.<\/p>\n

In February, Ahorn Camp and Erwin Hymer Group (EHG) announced their cooperation and the conclusion of a long-term production agreement. Starting this year, all Ahorn Camp motorhomes and campervans will be manufactured at the EHG plant in San Casciano, one of the most modern production sites in Europe.\u00a0<\/p>

The contract combines the flexibility and innovation of Ahorn Camp with the industrial excellence and high production standards of the Erwin Hymer Group. In July, Renault and Ahorn Camp will usher in a new era of motorhomes with the fourth-generation Renault Master.\u00a0<\/p>

Ahorn Camp is the first and only manufacturer to build its entire model range on the new Renault Master. In 2022, we will open a new service center in M\u00fclheim an der Ruhr and Speyer. In addition, the limited Black Edition is launched, which further enhances our tried-and-tested Van 550 and 620 with matt black aluminum rims and a shiny silver front guard. Ahorn Rent is also being further expanded. We are celebrating our anniversary in 2021. 30 years have passed since the company was founded and we are launching an exclusive edition to mark the anniversary. A lot has changed since 1991: from a small family business to a successful and award-winning company with over 60 employees, Ahorn Camp has evolved together with the Reichmann family. Still in family hands, the company's philosophy remains clearly in focus: We are the better alternative. In 2020, Franziska Reichmann takes over the marketing department in a leading position. With two sales networks and three core brands, we are now very broadly positioned in the motorhome market and are looking to a positive future. In addition to the Ahorn Camp brand, the Ahorn Rent rental system continues to grow and now includes over 50 partners throughout Germany. In addition, the Ahorn Camp team continues to grow and more than 60 employees are now fulfilling customers' dreams of owning their own motorhome every day. In 2019, the fourth family member Franziska Reichmann joins the family business. The new Ahorn Camp Vans model series is also launched. In addition to motorhomes, we now also have vans based on the Renault Master and Renault Trafic in our model range. These are produced at the PVDL cooperation plant in Perigord, France. The market launch of the campervans opens us up to a new, younger target group. Under the motto \"Vanlife\", many practical elements have been combined with a modern design so that the vans can be used optimally not only as travel vehicles but also as everyday vehicles.<\/p>

In 2018, the Ahorn Rent brand is launched as a pioneering new line of business. Campers can now rent Ahorn Camp motorhomes at low prices via a Europe-wide franchise system and try out freedom on four wheels. We also set up our third major branch, Ahorn Wohnmobile Frankfurt GmbH in Dietzenbach. In addition to selling Ahorn Camp motorhomes, the Dietzenbach location is now one of the largest Ahorn Rent rental stations in Germany.<\/p>

In the same year, the company name is changed as part of the internationalization strategy, so that Ahorn Wohnmobile GmbH & Co KG has been Ahorn Camp GmbH & Co KG since 2018.<\/p>

In 2017, Alexander Reichmann takes over as Chairman of the Management Board. In July, the first major dealer meeting takes place over several days since the realignment of the company at the motorhome plant in Tuscany. The so-called direct dealer system continues to grow and the nationwide symbiosis between Renault car dealerships and Ahorn Camp motorhomes is driven forward even further. In 2014, motorhome sales will be established at 30 Renault dealerships throughout Germany. Renault will be the exclusive chassis for Ahorn Camp motorhomes from this year.<\/a>\u00a0 Together with the Luano Camp cooperation plant, semi-integrated motorhomes and alcove motorhomes are still produced at the plant in Poggibonsi for the German and European markets.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2013, Ahorn Camp starts selling new motorhomes again with a newly developed sales system. From 2006, the sale of new motorhomes via the company's own dealer network is discontinued. As in the automotive sector, the motorhome industry, especially in the sales sector, has changed enormously in these years. In 1996, the company is converted into the legal form GmbH & Co. KG and existed under this form until 2021. As with the founding municipality of Ahorn, the Ahorn leaf has served as the company logo ever since. In 1991, engineer and investor Hans-Joachim Reichmann founded the company Ahorn Wohnmobile GmbH in the municipality of Ahorn, which served as the company's namesake. The aim was to produce standardized motorhome series in production plants in other European countries.
