The Partnership
Ahorn Camp has been using Renault Master chassis since 2013. In 2014, the strategic decision was taken to use only Renault Master chassis as the basis for Ahorn Camp motorhomes. The reasons for this were clearly the technical advantages of Renault Master over other motorhome chassis. Renault's diesel engines are sometimes the most modern on the market and are also used in many Mercedes passenger cars, for example. As Ahorn Camp is particularly active in the motorhome rental market, reliability of the engines and chassis is very important. The Renault Master has one of the lowest breakdown statistics compared to other chassis. The Renault Master also won the DEKRA long-term test for two consecutive years. As Ahorn Camp has made "best value for money" its motto, the Renault Master fits perfectly here.
Over the following years, the partnership between Renault and Ahorn intensified, which led to Ahorn Camp being an exclusive motorhome brand in Germany. At the most important motorhome trade fair - the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf - Ahorn motorhomes have also been presented on the Renault stand since 2017. Since 2017, Ahorn motorhomes have been sold throughout Germany in exclusive partnership through selected Renault car dealerships. As of today, Ahorn is therefore a motorhome supplier for selected Renault dealers. In 2019 Renault honoured the existing partnership with a major event for Ahorn and its affiliated dealers at the Renault Master headquarters in Batilly. Currently, 30 Renault car dealerships distribute motorhomes from Ahorn Camp throughout Germany. This network continues to grow steadily.
The common path

The annual dealer event with the presentation of the new models takes place at the Renault Master plant in Batilly. The partnership between Renault France and Ahorn Camp takes on a new dimension.
Ahorn Camp now also produces van vans / campervans on Renault basis. Thus the model range is extended by two vans based on Master and Trafic. The partnership between Renault France and Ahorn Camp is being expanded and intensified.
The Ahorn Camp 595 is given a place on the Renault stand at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The presence of a Ahorn Camp model on the Renault stand thus becomes a tradition.
Ahorn Camp becomes the exclusive Renault motorhome manufacturer in Germany.
The Direct Dealer Sales (DDS) system is launched. Here the motorhomes are sold directly through car dealerships in close cooperation with the Ahorn Camp head office. This creates a symbiosis between car and motorhome sales. Ahorn Camp launches the pilot project with the first Renault partners, which is to be further expanded in the coming years.
