The new Service Center in Speyer

As a company, it is important to us to grow with the needs of our customers and to satisfy them in the long term. In this context, our focus is not only on the development of innovative designs or expert advice when making a purchase, but also in particular on continuous support with questions and services after the purchase as well as the implementation of individual wishes. In order to be able to meet these objectives with greater intensity in the future, after several weeks of intensive work, we officially opened the doors to our new Ahorn Camp service and rental center at Franz-Kirrmeier-Straße 21a on 8 April 2022 in the presence of representatives from business, the press and politics.

Our Mayor of Speyer, Ms. Seiler, and our Mayoress of Speyer, Ms. Kabs, were among those who honoured us. As part of our 4-day Ahorn Days in Speyer, which were filled with lots of activities for children and adults as well as instant prizes, customers were also able to experience our new center.

What does the new service center offer?

From now on, the service center will allow us to offer a wide range of services for motorhomes directly on site in Speyer. These include maintenance services such as regular leak tests, cleaning and care of vehicles and accident repairs. Last but not least, it will also be possible to respond to individual requests for accessories such as towbars or Smart TVs. The new service center also integrates the first Ahorn Rent rental station in Speyer with a selection of 50 rental vehicles and 18 different models. With the additional option to purchase motorhomes and an integrated accessories store, the Ahorn Camp customer experience center ultimately combines everything motorhome enthusiasts could wish for under one roof.

On the 600m² site, a 15-strong team is dedicated to providing expert advice after the purchase of a motorhome, where service requests can now be dealt with in the best possible way by telephone, e-mail or on site. A wide range of spare parts can also be requested there, which are sent directly to the desired location by our warehouse logistics. Meanwhile, our 7-strong service workshop team works in the spacious workshop to ensure that our customers' motorhomes are ready for their next travel adventure as quickly as possible. Our state-of-the-art service center also contributes to employee satisfaction, which is very important to us. As the Speyer site not only functions as a branch, but also as a Europe-wide brand headquarters, strategic after-sales projects are also driven forward here and our service network of 64 service partners is coordinated throughout Europe under the successful management of Ms. Armeni.

Future-oriented positioning of Ahorn Camp and Ahorn Rent

With our new service and rental center, we are positioning ourselves in a future-oriented and forward-looking manner with regard to the requirements of the coming years. "We have grown very quickly and are continuing to expand, recognizing the great demand and potential in the after-sales sector. Our aim is to support customers throughout the life cycle of the motorhome they have purchased and to provide them with the best possible support for issues such as upgrading or maintaining their vehicle. This also includes brand identification, which we enhance with merchandise products and our mascot," says Ahorn Camp Managing Director Alexander Reichmann. The focus is also on offering convenient rental options on site to people who are not directly thinking about buying a motorhome and bringing them closer to the topic of motorhomes. "That's where we see our big mission," explains Reichmann, "because that's how we attract the motorhome customers of tomorrow."
